1. When is it the best time to move?
We are able to respond to your moving needs right away, however,
especially during summertime, it is advisable that you plan
and book ahead.
2. Do you carry insurance in case
of potential damages or loss of my belongings?
Your should insure your belongings during the move against
any unexpected circumstances. Most moving companies liability
rate is .60 cents per pound per article. You can purchase
additional insurance.
3. How do you estimate the cost of
my move?
Estimates for local moves are based on an hourly rate plus
one hour travel time which includes the travel time from our
base to your place and then after loading of the truck to
your new destination and back to our base
4. Will you move my jewelry and valuables?
All personal, valuable items, jewelry, valuable artwork, collectibles
can be moved by us on condition that the items are insured.
Usually customers take care of them by themselves, unless
they are to big to pack them in their car. At extra cost we
will move valuable items as well.
5. Can I pack flammable materials?
We are sorry but we cannot move your flammable or explosive
items. We are not taking responsibility for moving flammables.
6. Can you move my plants and pets?
Yes, we transport pet and plants.
7. Do you sell packing
materials?
Yes, we provide all necessary packing materials.
8 . Should I tip the movers?
Movers, like waiters are service people and if you would like
to tip the movers for the well done job, it is up to you.
The tips are obviously not mandatory.
9. What if for some
reason I cannot get the delivery into my new home?
If there is such a problem, we can arrange a temporary storage
place for you at additional cost.
10. Will you take
care of my mirrors and artwork?
Most definitely! We will pack them for you and place them
in the truck so that they are secure throughout the whole
moving process.
11. Will you move
my piano?
Yes, we specialize in moving pianos and odd shape, heavy furniture.
Just please let us know what items you have before we schedule
the move. Moving of grand pianos require special preparations
and precautions.
12. What method of
payment is required?
We offer the following payment options: Visa, MasterCard,
money orders, certified cheques as well as cash. Personal
cheques are not accepted.
